Use your own domain name
Hello fellow Webmasters! You can now use your own domain name for your venus blogger blog! Just go to Tools -> Domain mapping in your dashboard and add your domain and follow instructions, make sure to set your domain as primary. After setting the DNS “A” record in your domain registrar, to point to our servers, it will take some time until the changes propagate completely. This depends on the registrars, but should not take longer than a few hours. This is not a simple redirect, it’s even better than that. This feature is called domain mapping and is the same as hosting your domain name in our servers. You can leave us a message of contact us here if you need more help with this. Hello admin, I’m using godaddy as domain registrar, should I change the DNS there to point to yur DNS ? Any help appreciated. Thank you in advance, Thomas.
Hello Thomas, the best option is to create an “A” record for yor domain, the process quite simple and 100% automatic. If I remember correctly on godaddy, you must go to domains, select your domain, go to nameservers and choose to park your domains. Then go to total control DNS and in “host @” edit the info and write our server IP in “pointing to” or something like that. The details are in your dashboard, under tools -> domain mapping.
